More cash for hospital

02 Mar, 2011 09:18 AM
NSW Nationals Leader Andrew Stoner, Shadow Minister for Health Jillian Skinner and Nationals candidate for Port Macquarie Leslie Williams said a NSW Liberals & Nationals government will ensure the fourth pod expansion at Port Macquarie Base Hospital, with a cardiac cath lab, is delivered as soon as possible within our first term of government.

“We will also develop a Master Plan for the Port Macquarie Base Hospital precinct that will take into account the immediate and future needs of the site, including carparking, access and future needs,” Mrs Williams said.

She said the state would commit an additional $75 million to the $75 million already allocated by the Federal Government.

“This will ensure the fourth pod expansion at Port Macquarie Base Hospital is delivered as soon as possible within our first term of government.”
