Concerns were raised recently over the landscaping works at North Haven beach which saw part of the top carpark reclaimed for increasing the grassed area and including pavement for easier pedestrian access. The concerned citizens believed the 90 degree parking overlooking the beach would no longer exist.
A spokesperson from Port Macquarie-Hastings Council confirmed that 90 degree parking will be remarked overlooking the beach as works are completed. The other side of the top carpark will see 90 degree parking reconfigured to parallel parking. Parking on the bottom carpark will remain the same.
