On Monday June 9 there were some difficulties due to the chronic wet weather, but 36 members soldiered on for an 18 hole single Stableford round. There were 2 grades, with B and C combined, and in A, Rod Allen carved up the course with 38 points to win the big frozen fowl. A small one went to Merv Richards with 37 c/b. Balls to Ken O'Lochlin 37, Neville McCarthy 36, Peter Ball 35, Geoff Britton 34 and Ken Roberts 34.

In B & C, Reg Robb topped the table on 35, followed by Alb. Johnston 33.

In our 9 hole competition on Thursday 5th, Wayne Bennell 18 and Len Livingstone 17 c/b scored chooks whilst balls went to Reg Robb, John Mannix, Bryce Shean and Ray Dewar down to 16 c/b.
