The event will take place nationwide on November 28 and 29 but will be held in the Port Macquarie/Camden Haven area for two consecutive weekends November 28 and 29 and December 5 and 6 to allow girls and women the opportunity to participate in this wonderful event in Port Macquarie. The following locations have been scheduled: 28th November - Flynn’s Beach, 29th November - Flynn’s Beach, 5th December - Bonny Hills, 6th December - Flynn’s Beach.

Grant Hudson, current Australian Champion and Australian Junior Coach said: “Port Macquarie Surf School is extremely excited to continue to drive a program that promotes the sport we love and encourages females to participate in a healthy lifestyle in a fun environment. Surfing is a sport that has provided our family with a wonderful experience for over 40 years and we love to pass on our knowledge and expertise and see other families enjoying what we have enjoyed for so long”

The Rip Curl Girls Go Surfing Event is the world’s largest event-based surfing program and in recent years it has attracted over 6000 participants nationwide. The cost will be $50 which includes two hour surf lesson and Rip Curl Showbag with plenty of goodies and giveaways, including an exclusive Rip Curl Girls Go Surfing singlet. All lessons will be presented by Surfing Australia Accredited coaches who will make sure that all lessons will be held in a safe environment. Entry forms are available at most surf shops or contact Port Macquarie Surf School on 6585 5453 or email hudo@portmacquariesurfschool.com. au to reserve your place.
