The weather was far from perfect however, those who braved the elements enjoyed themselves immensely.

Wauchope-Bonny Hills SLSC were so close to taking out 2nd place in the Mid North Coast Branch pointscore. Another couple of competitors up at the carnival would’ve made all the difference!

The final tally was; Port Macquarie 1st, Tacking Point 2nd Wauchope-Bonny Hills 3rd (by just ONE point!)

Bonny Hills had some great results on the Saturday from its seniors.

THE surf was very sizable but Wauchope Bonny Hills members thrived on it, with some amazing surf skills on display. The Senior results are as follows;

U/15’s

Taryn Hilan – 2nd Flags & 2nd Sprint.

Craig Graham – 1st Board, 2nd Swim, 2nd Flags & 4th Sprint.

U17’s

Sami Dimond – 1st Sprint, 2nd Flags & 2nd Swim.

Jedd Goggin – 1st Swim, 1st Board, 2nd Open Swim, 2nd Open Swim Team, 4th Open Board, 4th Sprint & 4th Flags.

U/19’s

Gilbert Olzomer – 2nd Board, 6th Open Board, 4th Sprint, & 4th Flags Relay.

Masters

Scott Williams – (40-49 Years) 1st Flags, 2nd Sprint, 2nd Open Swim Teams, 3rd Surf Race, 4th Board & 6th Open Surf Race.

Paul Hoole – (40-49 Years) 2nd Sprint Relay

Keith Charles – (50-59 Years) 1st Flags 2nd Sprint Relay & 2nd Sprint.

George Fowler – (70 + Years) 1st Sprint, 1st Flags & 2nd Sprint Relay.

Chalkie Bob Smith – (70 + Years) 1st Swim, 2nd Flags & 3rd Sprint.

The nippers carnival was called off on the Sunday to be rescheduled for the 28th Feb.
