Several members from Camden Haven Pony Club made the trip up to Macksville recently to attend the annual Zone 9 Hacking and Dressage Championships.
A great deal of effort went into the preparation for the event with the end results being some fantastic looking well presented horses and of course their riders! All the hard work and training paid off, with some great results for all our Camden Haven crew!
A special mention needs to go out to one of our much loved senior riders, Brooke Atkins on Charlie with the outstanding result of Reserve Champion Novice in Dressage. With Brooke leading the way two of the Club’s younger members, both from the same family, Jasmiin Madden riding Tyson and Shania Madden riding her new horse Smoothy recorded some fine results. Jazmin won the Sub Junior Champion and Shania came away with Junior walk trot champion and also landed a trophy for Highest Overall Pointscore for her grade an excellent way to top off a great weekend!
