A home on Algona Road Middle Brother was broken into between 3pm Monday November 14 and 8am Tuesday November 22. A television, stereo, game console and a brush cutter were stolen. Forensic enquiries are continuing.
A take away food outlet in Bold Street Laurieton was targeted by thieves between 8.30pm Friday November 25 and 6am Saturday November 26. The thieves attempted to force open the front door but failed to gain entry.
A gold Toyota Prado was stolen from a North Haven beach carpark between 1pm and 2.20pm Sunday November 27. Police said the keys to the car had been left under the vehicle unattended. Police are reminding people to ensure their vehicles are secure and not leave their keys unattended. The Prado’s registration is ZHX 140. Anyone with information is asked to contact Laurieton Police.
A silver Mitsubishi Magna was stolen from the Pacific Highway Herons Creek after it had broken down. The theft occurred between 11am Monday November 14 and 3.15pm Wednesday November 30. The car’s registration is BH 99 BE.
At 8.40am Sunday November 27 a green Ford Falcon, travelling north on Ocean Drive at Lake Cathie, collided heavily with a blue Holden Commodore at the Aqua Crescent intersection. The Commodore had been waiting to turn into Aqua Cres when the collision happened. Both cars required towing. The drivers were treated at the scene by ambulance for minor injuries. Enquiries are continuing.
