On the 5th hole Terry Rogers took out the eagle’s nest with a great shot finishing just .87m from the pin. WIGGLY TAIL BUTCHERY Div 4 – We didn’t have a win but I was really pleased how everyone played this week. Riley & Eliza had the best games I’ve seen them play this season. Sophie had a blinder in WA, Tara & Chloe worked hard in defence, Tazle had springs in shoes with all the jumping she did against a much taller opposition. Brooke is finding her way around the circle and is working well with Ashleigh & Taylee.
CAMDEN HAVEN TRAVELWORLD- Great win girls, the passes were more accurate and most of you are coming forward! Nikki, Natalie, Sarah, Emily and Kirra were all on fire in attack, controlled by centre Deannah. Joanna, Jade and Grace kept the other team to minimum goals. Some of you are learning other positions which is fantastic because it makes you all the more versatile and in a strong team you need to be! On that note Em, thanks for playing wing attack - we know you love to shoot you played well and with great humour. Welcome Grace (you get the sportsmanship award for this week), you will be a great asset to our defence in the coming weeks. Best and Fairest this week went to... Nikki, who had a fantastic game! See you all on court! Anne

A fine and crisp morning saw 10 starters (including Andrew who hasn't been out for a while) on the tee for a stableford multiplier event, but wait who is that in the carpark, Dave and George, who else! So we had 12 starters, very good considering the Ironman prevented a number of players from coming. The course is still pretty wet in places and there wasn't much run on the fairways. Andrew was a bit rusty early but came home with a couple of good pars. Josh was doing it a bit tough while Paul and I started ok then faded somewhat. (I know, keep your head down!) . Up ahead Bob had some unpleasant words to say to his clubs while it sounded like Trev and Phil were accumulating some points (you always know Phil is going well when you hear his little he'he'he'chuckle). Mick and TonyM were picking up some points. George and Dave?, well they seemed to be enjoying themselves. George especially enjoyed the last green, or he would have if he had got on it, just think of all the bunker practice you had. Balls in A Grade to Josh NTP on the 9th, Paul on the 10th (would have won the eagles nest, but we all forgot to measure it). Longdrive to Mick. In B Grade NTP on the 9th to Andrew, 10th to Dave. No one for longdrive. Ladies Hole to Josh and second shot to Tony M. Winners on the day were Trev and (let's have a multiplier every week) Phil with 69 pts. Bringing up the rear were Dave and George. This Sunday is Mothers Day, so get a leave pass, get out to Golf then you can go home and spoil Mum. See ya Sunday.
Headdown.

U/9’s
It was a chilly Saturday morning at Stuart Park when the Raiders took on the Sharks. It was exciting to see the lads off loading the ball and backing each other up, Joe B was a stand out showing his team mates how it is done. Matthew made valuable metres with his strong hit ups and it was great to see him so involved in the game. Ewan once again gave his all from dummy half, determination getting him close the the try line a few times. Joe L continues to prove to be a valuable asset to the team with his fast legs and stepping skill. Hudson, Noah, Kade, David and Tyler all played well. Mitchell again pulled off some spectacular try saving tackles. Lachlan stole a try from dummy half and made a few breaks. Player of the week went to Aston for his all round game skill, scoring a great try and directing the play on the field. Great team effort! see you all at training on Thursday 4.30. Tom and Brad.

This weeks game was lead by our captain Izac against the Breakers. Congratulations to Man of the match Logan his first game of footy was one to be proud off showing us some big runs and awesome tackles. This week’s supporter award went to Izac for a outstanding performance all game with another try under his belt. Hudson, Declan, Tallin & Drew had some big hit ups. Johan, Sam & Michael showed off their stepping getting a try each why Hudson went away with a double. Next Saturdays a home game with a family fun disco night to follow at the bowling club see you all there.

The Mighty Camden Haven Eagles ventured up to Port Macquarie to take on the evenly matched Port Macquarie Breakers.
The boys were keen to get onto the paddock as their season had started with a washout and a bye.
Izach Dennis, Dane Chapman and Blake Steep were eager to take the ball up and completed an impressive 6 hit ups in total, Daniel Obrien, Aaron Coulter and Levi Berry completed 5 hit ups each, Harry Twomey and Jake Paterson completed 4 hit ups. The boys showed great ball handling skills and managed to keep a good grip on the leather while barging their way up the field.
The tackle count was one by a very hard working Rhys Hanlon with 15 tackles completed, followed by Blake Steep with 9, Dane Chapman with 8, and Levi Berry and Ethan Crossfield with 7 each. Well done boys, your defence game is second to none.
Although The Breakers were first to cross the tryline the boys responded quick and fast crossing the tryline a total of 7 compared to Port Breakers 3.
Dane Chapman managed to cross the tryline twice, Bryce Cook, Jaspa Calicetto, Izach Dennis, Rhys Hanlon and Blake Steep all scored a try a piece.
Well done Boys a win for your first game of the season, I am sure there are many more to come!!.

Welcome to the new season, our Under 7 team consists of Brodhie, Jaz, Tayte, Charlie, Riley, Max and Jack. All boys are ready to go for the season. We have just played our third game and what a start, the boys are on fire, with Jaz, Tayte and Brodhie certainly hungry for the ball, Riley and Charlie are our excellent defenders, however this week Charlie definitely changed his game plan and got right into the action and managed to get himself voted player of the week, congratulations mate. Brodhie what can I say but wow what a change from last year. Things have certainly clicked for you, keep it up. We welcome Max and Jack as our new comers, we wish you a great season with us and hope you have lots of fun. Thank you to our parents your support and encouragement certainly makes it more fun on Saturdays with the boys excited to be there to play the game. Look forward to an excellent season with lots and lots of great games.
Camden Haven Whites Under 12’s
Well done to the boys for their convincing win over Wauchope Bullocks on Saturday at home. With most of the action up one end of the field the boys scored 9 goals all up; 3 for Ethan Eames, 1 for Jackson, 3 for Jacob and 2 for Tarn. Well done to Tarn and Jacob for being busy near the goal to get their foot on some loose balls that the goal keeper had dropped.
Our next game is at Kempsey, Kemp St @ 9 AM.
See you all at training.
U/16s Girls
In our previous 2 games we won one and lost one and in our 3rd outing we played a strong Port saints side and went down one nil. A very suspect offside we all thought - any how we played hard & strong throughout the match and were unlucky not to have an equalizer. Paris, having an excellent game, let one fly from a fair distance only to see it sail over the cross bar late in the match. We are beginning to understand positions and each others play and we will get better. Keep having fun. This week a late one, 8.40, at Wayne Richards. See you at training.
Bonny Hills Hotel Social Golf Club
Nineteen keen golfers took on the challenge of travel along triathlon affected roads to travel to Wauchope Country Club last Sunday to contest a two ball handicap event. Winners on the day were Rowley Whitehead and Craig Jennings with a net score of 111. Runners up were Paul Potts and Tony Carroll with a net 121. Rowley’s scoring was much better than the previous two games (in more ways than one) with Craig apparently “policing” his scorecard closely. The best individual gross scores on the day were Tony Carroll 75, Eric Wade 76 with Jacko and Craig Jennings 78. Winner of the longest men’s drive on the 13th was Dave Middlebrook with a monster whilst sister Wendy was the winner of the Ladies long drive on the same hole. Dave, a school teacher, had a mixed day not quite playing to his handicap. He later claimed that the stress of playing after receiving a warning that in the future he will have to bring a note explaining his lateness proved too much. Men’s nearest the pin on the 4th was Tony Carroll and men’s nearest the pin 2nd shot on the 7th was Jacko. All round sportsman Jacko excused himself from cooking duties for the day as he had to contest another championship event later in the day and needed to rest up. Chef for the day was Paul Dickson who performed admirably and the high standards of culinary delights that members have become accustomed to was maintained. Have you ever noticed that the game of golf appeals to the idiot in us and the child. Just how childlike golfers are is proven by their frequent inability to count past five. The next game will be on 20th May Camden Haven at 8.00am for an individual stroke event. We then back up the next week (27th May) at Wauchope for match play competition. See you there.
