Kew residents curious about council’s plans for their town will have the opportunity to find out more this Thursday at the Camden Haven Golf Club.
Port Macquarie Hastings Council will host a one hour information session from 6.30pm to discuss Kew’s main Street beautification and the potential construction of a motor home parking area.
The beautification plan was designed by council last year and aimed to transform Kew’s main street Nancy Bird Walton Drive to create a village-like atmosphere and entice motorists off the highway.
The town was by-passed in 2009.
Council administrator Neil Porter said the session would also include an update on the recently-approved industrial and residential subdivision bounded by the Kew Hotel and Pacific Highway.
Bookings are not required.More information phone Linda Kocis 6581 8111.
