Knights stars special guests at Fun Day

Camden Haven Junior League together with the Kendall Blues football Club are hosting a Family Fun Day with special guests NRL star Kurt Gidley and former great Paul ‘Chief’ Harragon this Saturday July 7

The invitation is open for all Junior League players from Port Macquarie to Taree and out to Wauchope. All junior registered players are invited to come along with their boots, headgear and mouthgaurd for a muck around game with Kurt who will provide some expert tips on training and competition. The two stars will be there all afternoon for autographs, chats and photos. The Newcastle Knights are huge supporters of Junior League and the club is privileged to have such talent visit our local area.

Everyone is welcome to come and meet them and some of the other Newcastle Knights Players, with the gates opening from 11am. Kids wanting to play will need to register on the day.

The main game between Kendall and Long Flat kicks off at 2pm and is sure to be a thriller. There will be a jumping castle, pony rides, face painting, Mr Whippy, sno cones, fairy floss and popcorn available on the day as well as all the other canteen facilities. Anyone wishing to lend a hand on the day please feel free to approach June Swan or Rheannon Chapman.

The Blues committee has asked all the ‘old boys’ to please join in to lend a hand with the running of the junior games. Please be in full uniform (hat and shirt) and lets help make this a great day for the Kendall Blues.
