The 2014 Comboyne Fair at the showground, and through the village itself, will have lots of activities and sights for all to enjoy.
This year the Comboyne Showground will host the 6th Car Club Caper Events sponsored by 'Shannons'.
Members from 17 local Clubs will provide visitors with action photo opportunities on their "Drive Thru Town" procession starting around 10am, as well as during the amazingly skillful and entertaining 'Caper' events. You can talk to the owners and get up close to some of the best, antique, veteran, classic and hotrod vehicles in the country.
During the non-stop program visitors will enjoy the spectator marquees to view the Midcoast Mower Mulisha Club Racing Spectacular and demonstrations by Bradley Adams and his 'gentle giant' Clydesdale Horses.
The Timbertown Steam and Oil Engine Club members will also be providing demonstrations and information on historic farming machinery.
Organisers also expect some last minute surprise attractions!
Helicopter Scenic Flights will operate throughout the day. It's a great opportunity to see the beautiful Comboyne plateau with spectacular views of the coastline.
You can prebook your flight by phoning Tallun on 0413134777.
Would you like to win a helicopter trip to the fair? You can enter the draw to win "A Great Day Out" which includes return Helicopter Flight for 2 from Port Macquarie to Comboyne, with VIP entry passes, Club lunch and Devonshire teas. Ticket details from Comboyne Community Centre 6550 4289 or Ray on 6550 4164.
At the Comboyne Showground you can feast on the scenery as well as the country food at our Tea Room and Barbeque, with live music, great coffee, pancakes and more.
Mark Fosters' Entertainments will provide some great rides for the kids.
