Dubbed ‘Gold on Bold’ the event will see the Camden Haven Community Band play and march, followed by Shelley aboard a gold convertible.
The march will start at the intersection of Bold and Laurie Streets at 3.30pm and finish outside the Laurieton Hotel.
Bold Street, from Laurie Street to the hotel, will be closed to traffic from 3pm. From 4pm - 4.30pm the section of Bold Street from Seymour St to the hotel driveway will remain closed for the crowd to gather in front of the hotel for a few short speeches. At 4.30pm the road will be opened and those keen to attend Shelley Watts’ planned party will make their way inside the hotel.

“I’m really excited about Saturday, to be able to share this moment with the whole community,” Shelley said.
“I’m very happy that we can do a community event. I hope the community understands this will be a big thank you from me.”
Everyone is encouraged to park in areas surrounding the parade section of Bold Street and join in the festivity. Wear green and gold, wave Aussie flags and get into the spirit of the afternoon. Business owners are encouraged to put out their colourful flags to set the celebratory mood. The Camden Haven Courier team will hand out green and gold balloons in the street from 3.15pm.
