The game was a very defensive game by both sides.
Raiders were able to cross in the first 5 minutes with the ball being put through the back line and Kade Franklin skirting out wide then slipping a great ball to Huddson out on the wing and diving over out wide Joe Lewis converted and the raiders lead 6/0.
The rest of the half saw both sides attack each others defensive line. The raiders were able to get over the sharks line twice more in the half only to be held up over the line.
The second half saw more great defense from both sides with neither team able to break the defensive lines.
In the 12 minute of the second half the port sharks went on the attack close to the raiders line and eventually found a hole in the raiders defense and crossed over for a try the try was not converted and the score was raiders 6 port sharks 4.
The time ticked away for both teams and the final hooter sounded with the raiders winning and being the first team into the grand final.
Port Sharks now play Gloucester next week after they won the other semi final in extra time against last year grand final winners Camden haven.
The players and parents want to say a big thank you to Tom for all his efforts this year as the coach, Buddy for his support and effort as their trainer and Brad for being their manager.
