“This regional food industry accounts for $1.5 billion of the total revenue for the Mid North Coast every year. It employs more than four and a half thousand people and contributes around 15% of our region’s exports. It’s a sector worth investing in!”
“If you want to talk more investment and jobs, then a push into value adding, food processing, packaging and exporting is where it needs to go. Fortunately, there are industry champions out there who are already leading the way and in this industry showcase we’ve highlighted many of these businesses as examples of what can be achieved.”
The digital publication is now available as an interactive flipbook and download from the RDA website.
