Walsh will take charge of the top grade for his third successive year, with support staff yet to be announced.
United had first and reserve grade sides in the 2014 grand finals but unfortunately came up just short, including the 3-2 golden goal extra time loss in the first grade decider.
The season followed on the squad's strong 2013 form when United narrowly missed first grade grand final spot with a 3-2 loss in the preliminary final, but won the reserve grade competition.
Walsh was hungry for more success next season.
"I'm looking forward to a big year in 2015," he said.
"We went so close last season and the squad will be looking to build on the past couple of strong seasons. It would be great to have both squads there on grand final day again but with a different result to last season obviously.
"We have a couple of outgoing players from last year's squad, but at the same time there is some new recruits and players returning to the club. Some more of the club's talented juniors will also be looking to make the step up to seniors, so it's exciting times ahead for us."
Unofficial training will begin for all interested seniors and any older aged juniors in early January with beach sessions. All players are welcome to attend.
Premier League training will begin on Tuesday, February 3.
Pre-season trial dates already booked in include three grades against Adamstown Rosebud (state league side) on March 7 and the Nambucca Challenge Cup on March 21 and 22.
United's 2015 Premier League season begins with a grand final replay against Wallis Lake on April 11 at Dixie Park.
