There is currently a documentary film being made celebrating Comboyne's new status, which should reveal just how a township of only 600 peple has been selected over many larger, high profile NSW farming communities.
A visit to the 2015 Comboyne Village Fair on Sunday September 13 will not only give you and your family a wonderful country day out, but let you find out firsthand why Comboyne has just been awarded NSW's No1 "LEGENDAIRY" community.
Mayor Peter Besseling and Council have been proud to support Comboyne's application in "Dairy Australia's" prestigious - "Legendairy"- competition.
The Comboyne Village Fair this year promises to be a big celebration of the arrival of Spring, recognising the contribution of our farming families. The beautiful floral Hall display is to be a tribute, to the Centenary of Gallipoli.
This community event supports the Comboyne War Memorial Hall, providing it with ongoing refurbishment and improvements.
The Fun starts from 9am with an amazing range of attractions for all the family.
Lots of surprizes, with visits from dairy calves, Rod and Susan's 'Ben Hall' the Bullock and Brad's 'Show winning' Clydesdales.
For those who haven't visited Comboyne for a while, why don't you come up on September 13, and have a revitalising and relaxing time on Comboyne's beautiful mountain plateau.
Entry to the Fair is still only $5 and under 18's are free. More information is available on the website www.comboynevillagefair.com
