PORT Macquarie Pirates have an added incentive to win Saturday's Mid North Coast Rugby grand final against Hastings Valley Vikings, and he has a huge heart.

Young burns victim Jesse Williams took a central role in the Pirates' jersey presentation on Thursday night.

Williams was seriously burnt at his family's property, and had just come off an horrific couple of weeks which included time spent at Westmead Children's Hospital in Sydney.

He was at Pirates' Stuart Park headquarters to present the team their jerseys. He also received one himself. Williams will have a bench spot for the decider.

If the Pirates play with his heart on Saturday, they'll go a long way towards winning the grand final at Oxley Oval
