Collins can play anywhere, from defender to midfielder to striker. About the only position he hasn't tried is between the sticks.
Depending on the health of Lucas Heagney, Collins will take to the park either up front or in the halves for the Green Bloods' do-or-die minor semi against Port Saints on Saturday at Findlay Park.
The loser of the Camden Haven Redbacks/Wallis Lake match awaits the winner. The team which comes out at the wrong end of the scoreline can start planning its off season.
Brendan Prince will slot back into United's line-up tomorrow. He'll play in the defence.
Heagney is still in doubt with a toe issue, and missed Tuesday night's training session.
"He's giving it a bit more of a rest," United coach Chris Walsh said.
Given the team is at close to full strength, Walsh has the luxury of having plenty of options to cover for Heagney.
