BLEDDYN Gant took a great haul of awards at the Port Macquarie Pirates' presentation night.

The big forward was immense on the field this season, helping the team reach the grand final against Hastings Valley Vikings, and his input was recognised at the presentation night at The Westport Club.

Gant won Footballer of the Year, Best Forward and the Best and Fairest in first grade.

Pirates coach Nigel Hurlston said Gant's professionalism and leadership made him the standout player on the park for the club this season.

"He'd be the best player the club's had this year," Hurlston said.

"His professionalism and his attitude. He's never missed a training session.
