On Friday May 6 Year 6 students from Kendall Public School joined the residents from The Whiddon Group Laurieton Haven, Retirement Village, for a Mother's Day luncheon.

The students entertained the residents with a self-composed performance by the senior girls African drumming group then the Year 6 folk dancers got everyone clapping and tapping their toes with some of their favourite dances, Heel and Toe, Barn Dance, Strip the Willow and Waves of Tory.
The day was enjoyed by the students and residents alike.
On Monday May 9 the Kendall Kettles Craft group held the Cancer Councils "Biggest Morning Tea" at the Kendall Services Club, they had a great turn out and support from the community.
Kendall Public School entertained at the event with their senior girls African Drummers and solo acts - Jasmine playing the guitar and singing "Love Story", Charlie playing ukulele and singing "Rip Tide" then Cooper playing a self-composed piece on his amazing home made tyre drums.
All funds raised on the day go towards cancer research.
