LETTER: Not so honoured

Updated August 12 2016 - 1:56pm, first published 1:54pm

The highlight of the Olympic games for me was the Fijian rugby sevens team, winning the countries first medal in history, on looking forward to the Gold medal presentation I was so touched that with respect  each member knelt down on the podium as HRH Princess Anne placed the awarded gold medal around each players neck, then to my horror she then proceeded to shake hands with all bronze  and silver medalist winners, Great Britain who came second. Fijian people who are so humble and you are so deserving of this award. To all you Gold Medal Fijian players if I were to present you with your award I would have smiled proudly at each and everyone of you and given you a firm hand shake in Congratulating you on your  win.
