THE incoming Port Macquarie-Hastings Council is set to have two new councillors.

They are Peter Alley from Dunbogan and Lee Dixon from Bonny Hills.

The electronic distribution of preferences showed the councillor candidates, in order of election, as Rob Turner, Mike Cusato, Sharon Griffiths, Peter Alley, Justin Levido, Geoff Hawkins, Lisa Intemann and Lee Dixon.

Returning officer Ken Raison will declare the councillor poll at midday on September 20, if there is no recount request.

Councillor candidates have a 24-hour grace period in which to request a recount.

Peter Besseling has been officially returned as the popularly elected mayor.
