Mark and Martina Holt have been awarded life membership of Queens Lake Sailing Club.

MARK and Martina Holt have been awarded life membership of Queens Lake Sailing Club. 

“The Holts have made a massive contribution to our club since its foundation,” said club spokesman, Dave Castleton.

Mark and Martina have been members of the club since its official foundation in 1987. 

Mark has served the club as commodore on several occasions and Martina has been treasurer and race secretary for many years.

Mark has set the course and helped with all aspects of running the club including repairing boats and sails. Both have contributed to teaching young sailors and getting people out on the water.

Mark Holts is a boat builder and pictured boat "hullabaloo", which is a mg14 class, was built by Mark and Martina Holts at Roland's plains two years ago.

The life memberships were awarded to recognise their contribution and positive influence they have given the club.
