The Breakwall Brawlers have been training hard over the last 12 months and were out to show the very best of teamwork, friendship and dedication to the sport. 

PMRDL first entered ERRD three years ago at 26th position.

Last year they clawed their way up to 16th seed (B division), and this year they entered at sixth seed, making it into A division, versing the top teams form Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra.

Having moved up into the first division the team knew they would have their work cut out for them, however they did the league proud.

The Brawlers had the chance to play against many of their Derby idols in 3 tough bouts, which kept fans on the edge of their seats. 

Unfortunately they didn’t come away with a win, however it did show them the way forward and allowed them to set new goals for next year.

Captain Roxalot added said she could not be prouder of the Brawlers and their performance as a team over the weekend.

“Our team made the A grade teams fight for every point, right to the very end. We would not be where we are with out or coaches Alby Mangled and Orgazmo,” she said. 

“We turned heads yet again and I'm so proud to be a part of such a wonderful team who really worked together to be recognised.

“Port Macquarie Roller Derby League was honoured to be a part of this competition.”
