Why does there seem to be a lack of people willing to volunteer? Like me most volunteers seems to be the people with the least amount of time on their hands to volunteer. Working full time and having a family does not leave much time to serve the community but a lot of people in this situation do, especially in our organisation.

Camden Haven Girl Guides are in need of volunteers.
We need ladies of any age over 18 who are willing to help us out either in a supportive role, occasionally, for fund raising activities, assisting our unit meetings by supporting the leader or actually training to become a leader and run a unit of 5-10 year old girls or 10 – 14 year old girls.
For those ladies looking to go back into the workforce this is great experience and includes a variety of training opportunities.
For those ladies that have some extra time on their hands or not yet ready to retire but love the company of young people this is also an excellent opportunity to engage with the community in a variety of activities.
