Shortly after 3pm Thursday October 27 a girl was walking along Ocean Drive after getting off her school bus near the centre of Lake Cathie when it’s alleged a man driving a white car stopped to ask her if she wanted a treat.

It’s also alleged that after the girl ignored the man, he approached again asking the location of a park. Police said the girl ran home and reported the incident to a parent.

Police were notified and are investigating the incident.

The car is described as a white hatchback with a red light/stripe on side driven by older man with white grey hair and beard.
