I asked the same question. I pointed out to him that places such as Tweed Heads were selling fuel up to 12 cents a litre cheaper. I received a reply back and I was informed that the reason for the difference was that we do not live in a subsidised area, where Tweed Heads is, so we don’t receive the same benefits.

I thought at the time he was joking. 

We live in a country which has slowly been sold down the gurlger. We don’t own fuel supplies. They are all owned by overseas companies so they can charge whatever they like. We don’t even own our own ports such as Darwin, which has been sold off to overseas interest. They even wanted to sell off our electricity. What next?

We live in a country which should be one of the most prosperous in the world today. But what is happening is our assets are owned by overseas companies who are reaping the benefits.

Perhaps Donald Trump is a radical but, to me, her has the right idea; your own people should come first.
