The opening Camden Haven bowlers were on song and restricted the hosts to 1 for 43 at drinks.
Macquarie Hotel came out blazing after the break however the Camden Haven bowlers were not fazed.
Robert Dwyer got better the longer he bowled, and Tim Taylor asked me not to forget he chipped in with two wickets when he got his chance with the ball.
The Camden Haven had 128 runs to chase.
It was not the start we would have liked, at 4 four for about 40 – we looked dodgy until Colin Harris and I slowed things up and took Camden Haven to 79 at drinks.
Young Isaac Dennis then hung about with captain Col and took the Havens to about 10 runs short until he lost his wicket.
From there it was a formality – scratchy win but still a win.
Next week the Havens play at Tuffins Lane to keep the dream alive.
