The open mic session starts at 7pm. Get in early if you want to perform two numbers by putting your name on the board – six places only – then sit back and watch and enjoy our main group performers.
CHUMs (Camden Haven Ukulele Musicians) formed in 2012 to cater for some very keen ukulele players.
Every Friday morning CHUMs meet at Laurieton United Services Club to play, sing and have fun, under the inspiration of Khristina Joy, the talented and highly skilled (also very patient) leader.
CHUMs has a growing repertoire of songs to have you tapping your feet and will prove that you are never too old to learn new skills.
CHUMs are now loved at many venues and take their talent to clubs, schools and events in the local area. New songs and old, sung from the heart – don’t miss out on this great evening at Kendall Community Hall. Best seats will go quickly.
Kendall Community Hall doors open at 6.30pm. Tea/coffee and nibbles provided and then we welcome our main performance. Bring your instrument and do a couple of numbers during our open session or come along to enjoy the show.
Entry is by donation and Kendall Music Exchange operates as a not-for-profit community activity.
Looking back
In April the music exchange crowd enjoyed a great night listening to Wendy and Mike accompanied by special guest guitarist Steve. Their music was fantastic with wonderful guitar playing by Mike and Steve and the incredibly powerful voice of Wendy. Their closing number was described as “spine tingling”.
Looking forward
Make sure you note in your diary Friday June 2 – when the Kendall Music Exchange welcomes Blokes Notes as main performers.
