The Southern Network Dance Festival involves both primary and high schools from the Macleay, Hastings and Camden Haven regions.

The festival was established about 25 years ago.

Lake Cathie Public School has 64 children performing in the event this year.

Matinee and night performances were at Melville High School on Wednesday, June 28.

The stage three dance group were chosen to perform at a showcase event at the Port Macquarie Glasshouse on June 29.
