Fire and Rescue NSW were called to a hydrocarbon material spill incident on Ocean Drive, Laurieton at about 3pm on June 29.

Laurieton Fire and Rescue NSW captain Les King said the crew members applied absorbent to the road.
Booms have also been installed to drains in the gutter and the inlet pipe to the river.
Mr King said the booms were installed to prevent any further spill going into the river.
He said the booms will be left in place for the next two or three days.
Two Laurieton Fire and Rescue NSW trucks attended the incident.
A Fire and Rescue NSW Hazardous Material Unit van with a Hazardous Material Unit boat from Port Macquarie also attended .
Vehicles were being advised to negotiate the area carefully.
