It looms as a danger game with an injury crisis still enveloping the Hastings League ladder-leaders.
Gary Choice, Tom Wigman, James Kennedy and Kurt Cook are all unavailable, but they will welcome back utility player Brad Smith.
For the second-straight week the Blues will have a three-man bench which proved no problem during their 62-14 hammering of Lower Macleay.
Captain Beau Kettle admitted it was a danger game for his side who have been known to rise to the challenge of higher-placed sides.
He conceded they also struggled in games they should normally win and remained wary of the danger the Shamrocks possessed.
“They have a small, but skillful pack and can score tries from anywhere,” he said.
“We won’t be going in with the mindset that we’re expecting to win, but it will be hard to replicate how we played last week.
“We didn’t have too many faults in our performance.”
Matches against cross-town rivals Laurieton Stingrays and then away matches to Beechwood and Lower Macleay has Kettle optimistic they will be battle-hardened for the finals.
“We’ve got a few good sides coming up and we still have a lot of players to come back which is a positive,” he said.
“We’ll go in with a similar game plan to last week, but we’re not going to take Beechwood lightly, that’s for sure.”
Kick-off is at 2.30pm at Kendall Showground.
