Kendall Tennis Club hosted the Camden Haven zone trials for Tennis NSW primary schools’ Todd Woodbridge Cup on Friday, July 21.

Local primary schools were invited to enter teams from years 3 and 4 to play in a red ball hot shots competition played on mini courts with modified equipment.
Sixty children across seven teams contested from Laurieton Public School, Kendall Public School and St Joseph's Primary School, Laurieton.
The winners were Kendall Public School Team 2 consisting of Bodhi Kennedy, Deegan Wallace, Henry Alder, Tom Boyd, Sophie Stewart, Lexi Heslop, Ruby Stewart and Hayley Smith. They will compete in the regional zone trials at Coffs Harbour in September.
St Joseph’s Team 1 made up of Elwood Dollery, Cody Lynch, Wil Welsh, Zac Zurillo, Paige Hudson, Lauren Reeves, Molly Bridle, Jayda Norrie and Ellie de Silva came a close second. They will also go through to the next level.
The winners at Coffs Harbour will go through to the state finals in Sydney.
