Ian Barbato was a well-known community icon who suddenly passed away in 2004.
Ian loved to combine a good yarn with an adventure on the golf course and so every year since in his honour, many of his friends and family gather at Kew Country Club to do the same and remember the great man.
Organiser Simon Hancox said it was a wonderful day which saw over 80 people take part.
Attendees helped raise $4450 for the Riding for Disabled Association Kendall.
Mr Hancox said the money would be able to keep two horses fed for a year.
He said the day was an opportunity for people to pay respects to a very special man while helping to give back to the wider community.
