Ten staff members from Club North Haven will take on the five kilometre King of the Mountain event to help raise funds for the Mark Hughes Foundation and brain cancer research.

It is a cause which is close to the Club North Haven staff and members’ hearts.

One of the board of directors Ken Johnston recently passed away after he was diagnosed with brain cancer.

The staff of Club North Haven have set a goal to raise $7000 through donations made at the reception. To date the club has raised just over $2000.

The club is selling the Mark Hughes Beanies and Club North Haven shirts for $20 each.

To make a donation or for more information contact the club on 6559 9150 or follow their progress on the Club North Haven Facebook page
