The report is a reference document which the councillors and the community can use as an assessment of what has been delivered to the community.
“It provides information on actions, activities and projects and outlines achievements against set objectives,” the report said.
The Port Macquarie-Hastings Council delivery program represents the work the council is responsible for to meet the community’s aspirations for the future.
The report provides a progress snapshot of key projects across the region.
The progress report covers the period from January to June 2017.
The community can see progress on projects in Wauchope and rural areas, Laurieton/Camden Haven and Port Macquarie.
The document also contains a progress report summary by focus area with result statements and achievement highlights.
Meanwhile, the deputy mayor for the next 12 months will be decided at the Port Macquarie-Hastings Council’s September meeting.
If more than one nomination is received, the council will determine whether the election is to be by preferential ballot, ordinary ballot or open voting.
The Port Macquarie-Hastings Council meeting at the Burrawan Street council chambers begins at 5.30pm on September 20.
Other items on the agenda include the property investment policy, Financial Assistance Grants, and the Handa Float Festival and the 80th anniversary celebrations of Handa City in Japan.
