Gastronomic Motorcycle Tour
Last week celebrity Chef Matt Golinski embarked on a three day Gastronomic Motorcycle Tour of our region, visiting a number of local producers and farm gates along the way.
Matt was in town to capture footage to be used in the promotion of Tastings on Hastings this year, and to showcase Wauchope’s Motorcycle Friendly Town initiative.
From shucking oysters, picking blueberries and avocados, lunching with locals and even showing off his musical talents on a locally crafted guitar, Matt’s tour certainly portrayed our region’s food, beverage and scenic wonderland in an outstanding fashion.
A big thanks to Matt, Mud N’ Tar Motorcycles in Wauchope for loaning Matt a motorcycle to use over the three days and to all of the fantastic local producers that participated in this great initiative to promote our region’s thriving food culture. Keep an eye out for a video of Matt’s ride on Facebook in the coming weeks at facebook.com/GreaterPortMacquarie
