For the past three years, Slice of Haven has collected a voluntary entry donation from visitors to the festival.
A large proportion of these funds is donated to the community groups who assist in the smooth running of the event. The remainder is put toward the next Slice of Haven.
Event volunteer Kerry McFadyen presented $2,900 to be shared between the Camden Haven's SES, Surf Life Saving Club, Girl Guides and Hockey Club.
"Slice of Haven is presented by the Camden Haven Chamber of Commerce each year to showcase incredible local gourmet foods and drinks, talented producers and local businesses," Kerry said.
"Slice of Haven is a wonderful brand for the Camden Haven. It is inclusive and supports the local community in many ways. Today's donations are just one example."
Sally Woodhouse from the Camden Haven Girl Guides said the event enabled young guides to understand the importance of volunteering at a community event.
"The funds from Slice of Haven will be put towards our activities. We are currently fundraising to attend an international jamboree," she said.
Tony Worton from the Camden Haven Surf Life Saving Club said the club is looking forward to buying new rescue equipment to keep local beaches safe over the summer.
The Camden Haven Hockey Club is experiencing strong growth and funds the club earned, assisting in the set up and pack up of this year's festival, will facilitate their junior ranks.
"It was a big effort from our hockey players to put up and take down marquees, tables and chairs for the event," club representative Robert Dwyer said.
"The funds earned will go towards more equipment for our junior players."
The Camden Haven SES are about to embark on extensions to their Laurieton headquarters. Controller Paul Burg said the Slice of Haven funds will go towards the extension.
