A Community Satisfaction Survey is conducted every two years.
Council has appointed independent research company Micromex Research and Consulting to conduct the survey on their behalf.
The opinions of 600 community members are being sought, which will provide information from a good cross-section of the community, covering all locations and demographics from across the region.
“There is such a broad range of services and facilities that Council delivers on behalf of our community, and it is important that we hear directly from residents on what we are doing well, and areas for improvement,” said council director Jeffery Sharp.
“From roads and footpaths, water and waste services, playgrounds and libraries, sporting facilities and events, the community’s feedback will help us understand what they see as important and help inform future planning and delivery of local services,” Mr Sharp said.
Community members may receive a phone call from Micromex as they seek responses in the next two weeks.
“There are many opportunities for our community to contribute and ‘have your say’, and we strongly encourage participation in this year’s survey,” added Mr Sharp.
