The Kendall Music Exchange will welcome LoVoCo and Iintombi Zicula as the main guest artists on Friday November 3.

The group that has up until now been known as the Kendall Community Choir will be the first half of the choir-y goodness gracing the stage at the music exchange.

Now going by the name ‘LoVoCo’ – the Local Vocal Co-op – and directed by Rose Wilson, the group will present a varied selection of unaccompanied songs for your listening and our singing enjoyment.

Iintombi Zicula, also directed by Rose, will conclude the set. Iintombi Zicula is a vibrant and committed vocal ensemble of senior girls from St Columba Anglican School.

Their set will meander through some spirituals, via some world music, over some mountains of contemporary folk, will stop for a cuppa at a few solo pieces, and then head on through to some pop.

Kendall Community Hall doors open at 6.30pm, open stage from 7pm names on the board, first in best slot, tea/coffee and nibbles provided and then our main act starts at 8.30pm.

Bring your instrument and do a couple of numbers during our open session or just come and enjoy the show.

Entry is by donation, Kendall Music Exchange operates as a not for profit community activity.
