There was a strong turnout on the day and lots of smiles.
Students from Year 3 and 4 with the assistance of Mrs Aldridge and Mrs Steep led attendees in a prayerful liturgy.
Some of the grandparents who attended on the day were also once parents of the school.
There was also a reflective dance performed by Year 3 and 4 girls.
The closing photo slideshow gave an insight into the deep love grandparents share with their families.
Following the liturgy each class along with the choir, vocal group and ukulele group presented songs accompanied by ukuleles and boomwhackers.
This was an opportunity to show off the learning that has taken place in music lessons over the year with the school’s music teacher Miss McNamara.
After a lovely morning tea prepared by parents, there were hugs and kisses of farewell - a befitting end to a morning of recognition of wonderful people in their lives.
