Daryl Braithwaite may be jinxed when it comes to performing on the Mid-North Coast, having had to cancel a scheduled appearance in 2017 and in October this year.

Let’s hope the twice inducted ARIA Hall of Famer breaks the hoodoo to belt out all his hits next Friday, December 21, at 8.30pm. Those who bought tickets in October have been hanging out for his return, and there will no doubt be even more clamouring for a seat.
Braithwaite told me in October he still gets a thrill performing live. More than 80,000 rugby league fans gave him a huge thrill singing the chorus of The Horses with him before the 2018 NRL Grand Final.
Likely to be on the set list are classics from his Sherbert days – Howzat, Cassandra, Slipstream, Summer Love, and his biggest solo hits – As The Days Go By, Higher than Hope, The Horses, Rise, and some of his personal favourite covers.
Tickets are $40 and available by phone on 6559 9110, at club reception or online https://offbeat.oztix.com.au/?Event=89370.
