Police have confirmed a 12-year-old boy was left in a car on the Story Bridge in Brisbane's CBD this morning as a woman took her own life.
Officers are investigating two deaths, including one of a 14-year-old girl found in a Paddington home early this morning.
They believe the two deaths are linked.
A witness found the girl's body in a Carrington Street home early this morning and officers arrived at the address shortly after 7am. Detective Inspector Tony Duncan told reporters the girl died from unnatural causes.
Shortly after 7am a 48-year-old woman died near Brisbane's Story Bridge at Kangaroo Point. Police said the woman's death was not suspicious.
Detective Inspector Duncan said ''there are strong indications that both the incidents are linked.''
A crime scene has been declared at the Paddington house, and the dead-end street remains closed as police search the home and interview witnesses.
Multiple police cars and officers were at the scene of the Story Bridge this morning, causing major traffic delays into the CBD on the morning commute.
