Laurieton Public School celebrated the achievements of their students for the 2013 year with their Presentation Assemblies. The students were well supported by parents and community members who were there share in the children's successes.

To open proceedings the school looked ahead to the 2014 school year, the school named their School Captains for 2014. Chaz Wiegold and Holly Williams were named to lead the student body next year as School Captains while Alexander Knight-Viale and Marley Hodgkinson were announced as Vice Captains.
All children received a certificate of appreciation from their class teachers while individual students were recognised for achievements and qualities above the norm.

School Spirit Awards: Lucy Maxwell & Caleb Moss
NSW Premier's Sporting Challenge Award: Tiana Moore
Band Musician of the Year: William Jackson
Encouragement Awards: Teagan Potts, Ty L'Hullier, Beau Cranfield, Samantha Shedden, Isabel Farr, Fionn Tylor, Jacob Worton, Cassie Wheeler & Tieler Gardner.
