A 25-year-old woman will face Forster Local Court on Thursday after a police pursuit starting at Coopernook.

Officers from Manning Great Lakes Traffic and Highway Patrol were conducting speed checks on the Pacific Highway at Coopernook at 10pm on Wednesday night.
A Mitsubishi Magna was allegedly detected driving at 131km/h, in a 100km/h sign posted area.
Police activated their lights and sirens; however, the vehicle allegedly failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated with the car allegedly increased to speeds of over 180km/h.
Shortly after, officers terminated the pursuit due to safety concerns.
At the intersection of Failford Road and The Lakes Way, the Magna left the road and hit a tree stump and caught alight.
Police patrolling the area saw the hazard lights of the car and stopped to render assistance.
The fire was extinguished.
The driver was uninjured. She was arrested and taken to Taree Police Station.
She was charged with police pursuit (Skye’s Law), drive at speed dangerous, drive in manner and drive in a manner dangerous.
The woman was refused bail to appear at Forster Local Court on Thursday.
