Minor will be assisted by John Tavaga and Aaron Robinson and Paddy Bowen will serve as the club's strength and conditioning coach.

Danielle Martin is the team manager.

Peter Daley was also re-elected as president at the club's recent annual general meeting.

Daley said Thunder was looking forward to "even bigger and better achievements in 2016" after its first year on the field in 2015.

Minor agreed. He looked forward to the club taking more leaps forward.

"Some aspects were slow and steady, but we probably achieved more in that first year than we thought we would in two or three years," he said.

The club will have a meeting next month to decide which zone it will play in next season.

It's set down for November 4.
