Kendall Tennis Club members and supporters will be cheering for world number 2 Andy Murray who is also "representing" the town during the Australian Open. The town earned the right to claim Murray as one of their own after winning the AO Blitz competition against tennis clubs from around Australia.
Murray's Facebook page and Twitter feed is filled with messages of support from the local town.
If Murray wins, it will be the second time the Kendall Tennis Club has earned the main prize from the Australian Open's AO Blitz. Last year when Novak Djokovic claimed the Open while representing Kendall, the small club earned grant funding plus a visit from the Australian Open trophies.
The trophies came to Kendall when the club marked the grand opening of its new courts in August last year.
It will be a tense and exciting evening in Kendall Sunday night.
