The ANZAC Room Laurieton United Services Club, was full to the brim with happy swimmers and award recipients.
Point score and championship awards flowed with trophies being presented by - mayor Peter Besseling, Dr David Gillespie MP and wife Charlotte, John and Judy Vipond, Daphne Johnston OAM, Michael Mullens, Gaven Whalleyand Shanna Cook, Nicky and Des Augey, Ann Pilkie and Gayl Ellis.
The following major award winners for 2015/2016 were - Overall Point Score winner - Sarah McIntosh, Most Improved Beginner - Zali Beddoe, Most Improved Junior - Jarrod Dingle , Most Improved Senior - Claire McIntosh, Senior Achievement - Sarah McIntosh, Encouragement Award - Caidyn Sharman, SNC Championship Point Score winner - Hugh Rackley, SNC Championship MC Point Score winner - Madelaine Goodridge
Angie Whalley Award Triers' Trier Award - Caedin Miranda, 1500m Open Female - Rebecca Ellis, Club Person of the Year - Paul McGuiness, Time Keepers (Freddo) Award - Clay Sharman

6 yrs / Under - Tait Beddoe. 7 yrs - Jasmyn Everingham & Jarrod Dingle
7 yrs Runner up - Cody Lynch. 8 yrs - Zali Beddoe & Blake Ellis, 8 yrs Runner up - Jazmin Cooke & Zac Zurillo. 9 yrs - Jessica Kirkwood.
10 yrs - Abby Dingle, 10 yrs Runner up - Zara Lord. 11 yrs - Eliza Lynch & Jabyn Beddoe. 12 yrs - Kyla McGuiness, 12 yrs Runner up - Tess Threlkeld.
13 yrs - Mikha Everingham, 14 yrs - Rebecca Ellis, 14 yrs - Runner up - Tara Dingle . 15 yrs - Sacha Everingham & Hugh Rackley. Multi Class Champion -Claire McIntosh & Bernie Moran. MC Runner up - Sarah McIntosh.
Masters Champion - Brooke Crowe & Stefan Everingham, Masters Runner up - Ashleigh Cooper - 1500m Champions 2016 Senior Girls - Rebecca Ellis & Womens Masters - Ashleigh Cooper.
"A big thank you must also go to our club committee members, officials, BBQ helpers and time keepers, for keeping up the enthusiasm of all our wonderful swimmers all season," club president Gayl Ellis said.
