CAMDEN Haven Pony Club member Jane Laurie headed down to the Sydney Royal Easter Show with horse Penny to compete in the mounted games held on March 30.
Jane and Penny had to qualify in time try outs to be able to compete at this Royal event.
Jane competed for area three with four other riders in the team, with eight games, heats and finals the competition was extremely close and the riders very competitive, games included flags, bends, three mugs, five flags, balloons, water bottle on drum and fishing.
Jane had an unforgettable experience and commented on the awesome facilities.
Zoe Groth also from Camden Haven Pony Club qualified as well but unfortunately couldn't attend due to an injury; Zoe was devastated and so was the team as Zoe and her horse Holly are very accurate and fast competitors.
