Can you image what would happen with the health system from there?
People will forgo pathology tests leading to serious illness and then overload of the public health system from there.
People will forgo pathology tests leading to serious illness and then overload of the public health system with very sick people who could not afford to pay pathology bills i.e. pathology tests would go down and the public health bill would go through the roof.
There are flyers out in pathology suppliers in the Hastings area to campaign against this happening. Fill them in and make reps accordingly.
People will not vote for a party that does away with these tests. I have written to Dr Gillespie in this regard - don't you want to do the same?
In correspondence with the office of Mrs Williams I have campaigned for roadworks to be carried out on Ocean Drive near the Lakewood Shopping Centre.
The reply back from council that more important projects are in the pipeline.
Now we see workers ripping up 200 metres of perfectly good road near Waterview Heights to completely resurface the road - what the hell for?
I have spoken of this matter also with Dr Gillespie. Let’s get on board and stop all this rot - complain with your pen.

Health debate needed
Why hasn't there been more discussion on the Health changes proposed by this Coalition Government?
The Federal Health Minister Susan Ley is living in Disneyland; she tells us we will be no worse off, that pensioners and concession card holders will still receive a rebate after they spend $647.90 on medical.
Every year this amount of money increases just the same as the amount of money you spend to reach the gap at the chemist and the number of prescriptions you need to purchase.
It's okay to say that once you reach the gap fee things will be much better for all concerned.
The thing is, to reach this fee you will need to spend a lot more money, something the battlers out there will find it very hard to do.
What about the changes also for dental? With no bulk billing for blood tests, something that many out there need regularly, it will cause extra pain money-wise.
Also the cost upfront for x-rays will be quite expensive in gap fees. Many out there just will not be able to afford them.
Why not a discussion on this health issue? Let's get it out into the open.

Expert care
On Saturday May 14, I was taken by ambulance from Wauchope Country Golf Club to Port Macquarie Base Hospital.
The level of care, from the paramedics to all hospital staff that assisted me, was exceptional.
A special thank you to Dr Nag and Nurse Hannah who treated me in emu 6 of the casualty ward.
These professionals go about their work diligently whilst being light-hearted, making their patients’ plights easier.
Meanwhile the Saturday night crazies bang on doors and abuse the staff in emergency.
These are the areas where current Governments should be allocating more funding to resources in our hospitals.
I will be lobbying my local Federal member, Dr David Gillespie to make representation to Parliament on our hospital's behalf.
Thanks to all staff at Port Macquarie Base Hospital.
